<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Frontal cortex  tissue  obtained from  green  fluorescent protein (GFP)  transgenic mice  embryos was transplanted into  the  striatum of adults.  In  the  present experiments, we have  compared  survival of  solid  neural   grafts  with  grafts  of  neuronal cell  suspensions. Histological evaluation showed  that tissue  transplants size increased distinctly compared to cell transplants. Axonal  outgrowth from  both graft  types  and  host  was detected. Also transplanted cells  were  capable to  differentiate into  neurons and  glial cells.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>трансплантация</kwd><kwd>эмбриональная нервная ткань</kwd><kwd>GFP.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>transplantation</kwd><kwd>embryonic neural tissu</kwd><kwd>GFP.</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Maisonpierre P.C., Belluscio L., Friedman B., Alderson R.F., Wiegand S.J., Furth M.E., Lindsay R.M., Yanco- poulos G.D.
