Представлена комплексная морфологическая характеристика двух групп современного коренного населения Индонезии — минахасцев (N = 93) и сангирцев (N = 76), основанная на широком спектре соматических показателей (30 признаков). Подробное описание этих этносов с точки зрения физической антропологии ранее не было опубликовано в научной литературе. Для сбора данных, использованных в статье, авторами была организована экспедиция на острова Индонезии Сулавеси и Сангир. В программу обследования вошли оценка пигментации кожи, радужки, определение цвета и формы волос, измерение корпуса и конечностей. Показано, что по большинству морфологических признаков и типологическим особенностям телосложения минахасцы крупнее сангирцев. С помощью методов многомерной статистики проведено сравнение пропорций тела минахасцев и сангирцев с соответствующими показателями представителей других монголоидных и экваториальных популяций Азии, Океании и Австралии. Сделан вывод о том, что из изученных монголоидных групп Юго-Восточной Азии по особенностям телосложения сангирцы наиболее близки к экваториальному антропологическому типу.

A complex morphological description of two modern indigenous ethnic groups of Indonesia —Minahasans (N = 93) and Sangirese (N = 76) is presented. The results are based on a wide rangeof somatic features (30 characteristics). These groups were not yet extensively described in scientific publications in terms of physical anthropology. Data for the research were collected by the authors during an anthropological expedition to the islands of Indonesia, Sulawesi and Sangir. The examination program included measurements of body and limbs, assessment of skin and iris pigmentation, estimation of hair shape and color. It was shown that by most of morphological characteristics and typological features Minahasans are of more sturdy build than Sangirese. The body proportions of two examined groups were analyzed and compared with available data on other Mongoloid and Equatorial populations of Asia, Oceania and Australia, using multidimensional statistical methods. Comparing to other Mongoloid populations Sangirese are closer to the Equatorial type by body characteristics.
