Отмечено разнообразие форм кривых вертикального распределения Chl в различных гидрологических зонах пролива. Антарктические воды в весенний период характеризовались хорошо выраженным глубинным максимумом Chl (DCM). Сделан вывод о необходимости учета DCM при разработке моделей первичной продукции Южного океана с целью оценки ее годовых величин.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Vertical distribution of primary production (PP) and chlorophyll a concentration (Chl) were studied in two Drake Passage cruises in October—November 2007 and 2008.
