Ломоносова “Вестник Московского университета. Серия 16. Биология”. MUBSB издается компанией “Allerton Press”, входящей с 2007 г. в состав международной академической издательской компании “Наука/Интерпериодика”. Бурный прогресс MUBSB в последние годы связан, по-видимому, с тем, что с 2007 г. журнал распространяется всемирно известным издательским консорциумом “Springer”, размещающим электронные версии всех статей на своем интернет-сайте. Это обстоятельство, судя по всему, и привело к многократному росту числа подписчиков журнала. В свою очередь количество скачиваний читателями статей из MUSB с сайта издательства увеличилось с 2007 по 2013 г. на порядок. Отмечается, что рост популярности издания привел к его включению в целый ряд международных баз данных, а это в свою очередь повысило его привлекательность для большого количества авторов, в том числе и не являющихся сотрудниками МГУ, а также для ученых из научных институтов и университетов других стран. Кратко анализируются основные особенности спектра публикуемых в MUBSB работ.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The history of development in the last 7 years of the scientific journal “Moscow University Biological Sciences Bulletin” (MUBSB) is reviewed. It is the English edition of the Russian scientific research peer-reviewed quarterly journal of the School of Biology of Lomonosov Moscow State University “MSU Vestnik (Herald). Series 16. Biology”. MUBSB is published by “Allerton Press”, a member since 2007 of the International Academic Publishing Company “Nauka/Interperiodica”. It is emphasized that rapid progress of MUBSB in the recent years was related, apparently, to the factthat since 2007 the journal has been distributed by internationally renowned publishing consortium “Springer” placing all electronic versions of articles on its website, which has led to a manifold increase in the number of the journal’s subscribers. By-turn, the number of MUBSB papers’ downloads from the publishing company web site has also abruptly raised in those years.
